My question is how will it look when the Sun starts to go down, will the eclipse become larger and larger?

I lived out in a small town in northern Vermont for a few years. The Leonids were wild. They were so bright they'd reflect of the snow. My indoor only (deaf so very visual) cats would sit in the window and watch both the sky and the sparkles on the snow. The northern lights were very cool to see as well.

Out here in AZ I keep hoping for aliens when I'm plane watching ;) but I'm in the city so probably not.

I've never seen too many wonders from the sky in Arizona. I've had good luck way North on the border of Utah but nothing really anywhere else. Years ago I caught a starlink launch in Sedona and that was pretty cool watching that flower out.
