The real answer is that is different for different people (and races) cough cough but the generally accepted idea is early as 4 months or older.

Just a guess, but I bet the didn't control for race as the results would've been racist.

Yeah, that is why the age is in months and does not include race.

Some studies show that black's cant recognize themselves in a mirror until they are nearly 8 years old. EIGHT FREAKING YEARS. No wonder they think "I din'du nuttin". They barely can pick themselves out in a picture of themselves.
