Yeah if you are comparing overall damage a grenade would stomp both but i shouldnt have to explain why that is a terrible idea. Also you arent getting home invaded in the middle of a field and you might have kids about, you dont want to buckshot the neighbors kids or your own. Of course a shotgun will do more damage and is more likely to get a hit but those extra bullets might be unnecessary and its hardly discreet, you would need to keep it in a safe place while a pistol is easily concealed and stored. Then again we've seen videos of cracked up niggers taking full clips before stopping, maybe a pistol wont be sufficient when you have a mass chimp out and several cracked out niggers invading.
