I mean, if your home consists of nothing but a folding chair, okay shotgun is better. I live in a place that has doorways. It was much easier to use the pistol (I lost while shooting it offshore in the ocean) moving through doorways. But if you have nothing but a chair and a field as your home, shotgun is definitely the best, no question...
