You don't have to, but you can also call them out so other users and lurkers can see it. It's better than just simply downvoting it without a context/reason.
Blocking them prevents me from seeing and responding when they do make a point good enough to need refutation. Maybe just stop policing votes and speech and pretending you can do a better job than freedom of expression can.

Believe what you want. Voat was shut down because it had true free expression and was therefor unsubvertable. Voat was shut down because there was a shit ton of quality research going on there. Not sure if its due to your censorship or something else. But this place is a childs circle jerk compared to the actual data getting passed around voat. Voat didnt shut down from lack of funding conveniently at exactly the most pivotal moment in our nations history. It was shut down because otherwise it would cause a problem. The fact that this place stil stands means its either not a problem for the elite, or its part of their solution.
