I did tell that punishment is useless, not the process of detaining and intervention and re-socialization. It's good that you are done, because raping/killing spree is manifestation of flawed society. These occurrences are social responsibility. In rational, healthy society something like that would not happen. And in this clown world even you can become raping/killing guy, you just need chain of right stimuli for it.
