Unfortunately. 300 or 30000, doesn't matter. If the population lets them push them around. The law doesn't matter, as is shown by the government as it stands.
Aussies gave up guns largely, and when that happened the ability to tell the government what was against the law, and what was not, went out the window anytime the government chooses to enforce something with armed force.
That is the last surviving thing in the US that makes us very different from other places. Guns are common here. 4 of the 6 homes on my street are known gun owners. We all go shooting together occasionally. The other 2 maybe, but I don't know them. That makes dropping 300 reservists on the ground to control a whole city much less feasible here.
Victoria is a pretty large city. 300 isnt many. If the citizens wanted to be out of that. They could. It might cost a couple of lives to gunfire. Which yes is sad. but do you really think those 300 reservists want to shoot the citizens? No, they don't (mostly some pshyco's get in militaries and make it clear for a while). A peaceful "no" protest march by large percentages of the population. those 300 would step aside.
The gov wouldn't let it be publicized that they murdered peaceful unarmed civilians marching to the government office in protest. Yet at least. As it stands, the oligarchy cannot afford to have a public massacre shown on TV over this. even bitchute or leaked reality style videos would be damning for them.
I wouldn't hold out hope for the US Marines to come marching in any time soon though. We've got enough issues over here to get solved and look at the fucking fiasco of leadership we are currently fighting.
Learn survival skills and move out of the city if at all possible.
