I've been receiving the whatever stipend from the government that is supposedly just an advance on your child tax credit for next year. I've been taking the money every month and setting it aside because I don't need it, didn't want it, and I expect I will be fucked next year on my taxes so I wanted to make sure I have money if it comes to that. How many people are thinking they're getting some free government money and when they file their taxes they're going to get back a lot less than they normally do. I know plenty of people that rely on a few grand tax return every year to make purchases or pay down debt. There's going to be some pissed off people next year because they weren't paying attention and they have the realization they already spent their tax return.

The poor will be surprised they didn't get their windfall of free money for doing nothing, but it's the middle class, the only group in the country who pays taxes, that will get a big surprise if they typically come out even or oweing a little. They will get a bill for thousands of dollars. Poor folks don't understand how much fucking money they tax the middle class.

Correction here: the upper class pay the absolute majority of taxes.

Yes but those are high wage earners and the sub elite. The true .001% pay nothing. The Panama and Pandora papers showed they are hiding tons of money in secret bank accounts and showed that Bezos and others pay 0% on most years. Zuckerface cashed out 10 Billion in FB stock and paid 0% because he is connected to the "special economic improvement zones" which are the places that got burned down by antifags.
