I like the hardware specifications but the price point is too high for buying these in bulk and keeping them handy for that cool idea that just popped into your head.
I later read that it is not actually powered by the 5volt USB interface, sad. Rather, it requires a 12volt supply that goes through the USBC jack using the PD "standard".
Edit: I've seen conflicting reports on the voltage. Basically I'm not sure. Some report 12v and 5v and 8watts and 5watts.
I like how they added an ATMEL 32U4 to support IoT. I'm not going to rush out and buy this yet, but it's fascinating anyway.
