Seriously, this would be great. Just tell a story how you want. It don't gotta be fancy or nuthin'. Just tell us about this anthology, which is just a grouping of artists and genre/era. The 20's and 30's were indeed an important time in the evolution of western music, born in the good ole USA which of course spread as the blues to Britain and ended up producing Rock n Roll. This was the primping and grooming of the kid that ended up screwing jazz which birthed it all.

That's called motivation. But yeah, I'll be glad to give an opinion on your story and maybe provide suggestions. You get to decide how and what to present. Your obvious love of music is what's important. Share it with the world. Take as long as you want, just think of it as a little project to do when the mood hits and you have the time.
