When was the last time conservatives conserved anything?
Actual conservatism is a series of ideas and values that is passed along from generation to generation in the family. If that is eroded its been because the family unit has been under attack forever.
Conservatives have preserved their values and that doesn't need reflection within a society for proof. It certainly doesn't need pop culture approval to prove its preserved either.
If that's what you need and desire, then you're not a conservative anyway, but you're merely a tiresome antagonist...which is as lonely a life as one could lead.
