What a random ass article. They weren't even talking about video recorded on the tape; no, they're talking about the art direction/design of the VHS tape cover. However, the vhs format was crappy as hell but got video into the hands of the consumer. Plus, there's an odd appreciation when watching glitched out vhs footage, tracking and all.
