Dorsey hasn't controlled twitter for years. He was already ousted by the bigger shareholders last year. The "bigger shareholders" are the problem at twitter. Elon is likely colluding with them to give twitter a cleaner image, but there's no way the censorship is going to stop on twitter. They might allow slightly more free speech, but they will still throttle posts they don't like so no one sees them. The chances that twitter will become a free speech platform because of Elon is zero. This is a PR stunt to prevent the brand from becoming too "woke". It doesn't mean real alternative views outside the Overton window will be tolerated. They won't.
