He's not wrong but this isn't new in the least. In the US, this has been the case for well over a century. What he's outlining in his rant is just the examples of that he's paid attention to. He needs to research and learn more, then maybe he'd have a better argument and could hold a more relevant discussion.

I'm not sure how much Tate talks about this. Maybe he has shortcomings of understanding, I can't say. I haven't been interesting in his content before. I saw this clip and thought it was worth sharing.
He's either having a discussion with multiple people in the room(and camera) or he's talking at.
At any rate, he makes a valid argument but as said, it's over simplified.
