Problem is twitter has imbedded itself so tightly that it'll be hard to match. I'm not sure now but right before I switched from windows I read that Ubuntu was putting twitter on the desktop. I knew right then Ubuntu was not for me. I can't myself stand having a maximum amount of characters I can write in a posting. It's 2019 and it should be able to do 512 minimum but they are using the cheap phone company texting plans to suppliment their business. If you texted an entire month on a $20 unlimited text plan besides adding you it cost them in energy and stuff about $1.50 to give you that service so they are charging 15x more. People wonder why I don't own a cell, I don't need a raping by at&t or sprint or verizon.
