I personally did not like what I learned when I began to research this and would gladly change my mind and embrace the globe but there are too many obstacles. I only want the truth, and same for any subject. No dog in the fight or gain for me personally.
I'm not aware of the 'experiment that people run from,' first I've heard of it I believe. Naturally though there will be opposition from flat earthers to it.
