One of the best racing teams around. They have been slammed this year with 3 deaths. My heart goes out to this family. Al's oldest brother Bobby died in May and 6 weeks later Bobby jr passed away. Prayers to this family for comfort. One death is hard but more is knee buckling.

I was at the last race he won in 87, it was my 3rd year in a row going. I moved to speedway in with out really realizing what was gonna happen in May as I moved there in Nov of previous year. I remember the announcer was damn near in tears as he was coming around the white flag lap. He wasn't the first to win 4 but I'm pretty sure he worked the hardest for his wins.
