I keep the shorter barrels on all my shotties. I've used them in some tactical shotgun classes with slugs and got great results. I don't have to worry about overpenetration with my inside walls so it sounds like you are set well for your application.

Yeah. I prefer to keep the lesser spread though. I trust my aim enough to hit what I need and less on anything beyond/around my target. I've never shot 4 buck though. I'll give it a try if I can find a box.
