There are times when I have punchlists for houses I build, and the guy who does the final walkthru will put on the list something like “remove piece of blue tape from bedroom wall.” Instead of him just reaching up and taking it off, he wrote it down, went home, typed it up on the punchlist, and gave it to me for my crew to do. Makes me laugh every time

Does that make you feel like he is extremely thorough or like he is an ass? If he notices a piece of blue tape you missed, he probably notices other more important shit too. I get your point though, just asking.

It won’t be the only thing on the list, normally it’s part of a larger list. But yeah, you’re right, he is an ass
