Hey, Poals. I saw the movie Serenity before watching the show Firefly. It was fascinating how they wrote the movie in such a way to introduce characters, lore, and universe in a way that you didn't have to watch the show first to catch on to the characters and their relationships. If you are able, would recommend watching the movie first and see if you can detect the same thing. Great movie suggestion. You can't stop the signal.
