He pioneered a certain aesthetic and certain ideas that surrounded it. I’ve been to his museum in Pittsburg and I’ll admit I enjoyed certain things about it (mainly just the aesthetic) even though I was also repulsed by the degeneracy that came with it.
Certainly not as great as people pretend he is and I don’t mind you calling him a hack. I do think it’s worth understanding what makes stuff like that appealing to the other side though.
