poland was basically the jews homeland in the later middle ages. they were not only accepted, they were given separate autonomy. whilst you're checking, look up Milan. cause i'm too lazy atm and cbfed finding out if jews had a good presence there in 1350 to explain why the plague wasn't so harmful there.
fyi, using a plague as revenge is very jewish and very credible. it makes up their first major story (god sending plague against the egyptians) and it makes up their future tellings that plagues will ravage the goy
