I've found most adults will argumentatively insist they either read or had Gulliver's Travels read to them as children. They can't imagine it's any more than a fairy tale or Golden book story. In reality it's a complex, metaphorical read that contains nothing childlike. Most people need a life interpreted in Disney format to get through the day.
