When I was in the navy, we used portable bilge pumps - aka “wizbangs” - because often times we couldn’t draw enough vacuum to pump down a bilge with the installed pump. So instead of having 2 or 3 feet or water sloshing around in the bilge we would use a wizbang to pump some of the water to another bilge or to a holding tank. So I call bullshit on the video for a bilge pump being some sort of contraband item that shouldn’t be there.
That being said, I’m sure these assholes discharge oily water when they are in international waters because it cost $$ to process.
