The Jews do this all the time, conflating reality with fiction. They use it to gas light us by claiming it was in a fiction movie and call us crazy for believing something on a TV show/movie while they also remove any traces that backs up the claim.

isn't there also this idea of gaining consent in the same fashion? by showing it openly and having people watch it's a form of tacit agreement?

i think this is why 1984 was required reading for the west. inoculate the young mind against later rebellion by exposing it to juuuuuust enough successful tyranny.
