The account score, or karma score is just a rough measurement.

I just got downvote-trolled , where I am currently not much active.

Now, my account there score is -7.

If I were solely judged based on a score manipulated by a downvote troll, that would not be fair.

But it is even worse on Voat.

I shared about three hours ago, which made it to the top of the front page, with over 50 upvotes.

But because Voat treats post scores and comment scores as separate entities, despite of all the upvotes, I still can't interact with any of the comments due to the absurd comment quota (1 comment per 24 hours).

Downvote trolls effectively have moderative powers on Voat. They are able to speer-censor users as they please.

The joke itself isn't the problem.

He downvoted all of my comments.

And like I said, I rarely ever block users.
But I don't need users who just behave hostile and mass-downvote for the sake of maximum damage.

I don't want to interact with mass-downvoters.
