It allows for duplicate links to be posted in the same sub.

It defeats the expando option for external links.

It makes Poal look bad.

I wanted to say "Why didn't you use the link-post option, then it may have embedded on Poal in the expando. It makes no sense using the text-post option if all you have in the body is a link." but they blocked me.

it's too dumb to have any understanding of any of that. It thinks that everything has to be a txt post, as per Q dogma or something. Idunno.
