This almost makes the current happenings look anticlimatic… But if that Marek's Disease thing applies to us, the ability to limit who may live and who may die based on an "antidote" (create a problem, sell the solution) should be very close.
The issue is how complacent people have already been so far… But the majority of people here I know only seem to wear masks for stores and such. Workers still wear them at all times even behind closed doors, are they afraid of their bosses? Has the staff even talked with their superiors about how to deal with the situation or is this true complacency? Or do they think the patients are afraid and they'll sue? I think more communication is in order, but what's a soft way to tackle this. Reading the air is difficult when all you see is eyes above some paper, like, I don't want to get expelled for "endangering the health and safety of staff" when some NPC walks by and reports me, right now it's easier to just obey.
I wonder what will come first, them creating this problem and selling a solution via an "antidote shot" that anyone can access, but only a limited number…
Or a nightmarish social credit system based on values like in east Germany, snitching promoted.
Seeing my brother's classmates, the time for that to thrive seems right.
They are grooming a generation raised by smart phones and social media, by 2030 they will all be adults…
Sorry for my disjointed reply, I just had a metaphorical lobotomy from witnessing clown world things and then making the mistake of unwinding to… South Africa killing footage. I kind of feel sick today.
