Guam territory because they're the Texas of the Pacific, and for negotiating power (submarine & air base).

Oklahoma would want to come along but we'd have to talk...

California is too beautiful and full of resources to be wasted upon Californians, so it could be our #1 expansion objective for another coast (and to reverse the decades of Californization of Texas).

Parts of northern Mexico were considered part of the Tejas back in Old Mexico days, so that's gotta come too... Purge
