pedophile n. 1. An adult who is sexually attracted to children. 2. An adult who engages children in sexual acts.
You don't get to define what the term "pedophile" means.
What you are doing is the apology of pedophilia, and you should feel ashamed for all the kids that got abused by adults (especially those in position of power/authority).
Not all minors are children. Some are adolescents, some are young adults. Even the law sees the difference between "statutory rape" and "child sexual abuse."
I'm not making apologies for anything or anyone. I'm trying to keep the discussion reality-based. Suppose you live in a state where the age of sexual consent is 18. You have sex with a girl the day before her 18th birthday. Now you're a pedophile, by your thinking. But she wasn't a child. You don't have the same mental disorder as a guy who fucks someone the day before her 8th birthday. This is obvious. psychiatry doesn't treat them as the same thing, the law doesn't treat them as the same thing. Only you treat them as the same thing, and you get mad and hurl slander at someone who tries to explain the difference to you. That's worrisome to me.
