I dont mind it usually, it doesnt last long enough here. I hate the heat, but come on 7 degrees or even 4 in Texas? Global warming sucks.

What the fuck are you doing with the PVC fittings? Your pressurized water lines are PVC? That shit is the worst.

Thats the way it was down here. Its changing now but its 30 years to late.

CPVC is shit. You just need to let the water run a bit out of the faucets and hopefully you will avoid a freeze-up. Typically just enough that it goes from drip to smallest steady stream. We use this technique frequently in unheated homes over the winter. Good luck!
