You are using 'their' fear of everything. The fact is the 'criminal' is already carrying an illegal firearm, so a law that affirms the honest citizen the right that they already will have zero affect on crime. A 'crime' with a firearm will never be stopped by a wish (law),but an armed citizen can and does stop crimes 2 million times every year.
