Texas Crime rates

I've been looking into Texas this week, and the reviews aren't good. Crime rates at 1 out 15 affected in most major cities and often worse in small towns. Overpriced housing in areas with better weather, liberals taking over the metro areas and border counties.
Fort Worth area seems the best as far as I can tell, but still a bit pricey.
Also as of the last week or so many cities and companies re-enforced masking in many places.

Are you looking to transplant from another state? Or are you already in TX and looking to move? The following counties: San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, are mostly run by Democrats because they cheat. Fortworth is on the verge but Tarrant County is going full anal with all the transplants and democratic socialist millenials running.

The main Counties I mentioned have "masking mandates" for the most part thanks to the local DEM judges who run the ship. The DA's are also sorros. You can find nice places to live in them but the bottom line is that you are under Democrat county rule. School taxes are also very expensive here.

If I had a job where I worked form home I would not pick any of these counties to live in. You are better off finding a place that is 95% republican voting with your own well, land, etc.. So you can live off the land when the SHTF and stay away from the cities. Just my opinion though. I live in one of these counties and my neighborhood is very nice. No crime. However, when I leave my nook it's back to reality I'm in a Democrat ran county where masked faggots still virtue signal.

What is your price range? I can give you some tips if you're still interested in these counties.

Under 1000 per month max, preferably 700. I'd love to represent consevative somewhere that matters, but I don't want a prefab house that will get wrecked by a tornado in 5 yrs.

Okay just so I understand are you looking to rent or own? Also if owning are you going to do traditional 20% down or do you have other loan considerations like VA?
