It seems like this is becoming a popular tactic. Don't like being forced to be part of a blue city? Well, vote to make your own. In this case, the city had been annexed by Austin and it pissed off the people living there then.. now they are "taking it back". If this can be done nation wide at every blue major city it could re-draw voting lines/roles quickly. Large blue cities will instantly lose massive amounts of tax dollars while also losing control of the cities surrounding them. Then, new policies can be created that are counter to the blue/progressive hellholes that be used to slowly push on the "big city".

They just don't understand. They are the "better men" and are clearly more educated than these racists and pro-cop people. Why don't they understand that they are supposed to be targets of violent crime because they are oppressors and they deserve it.
How long until they say this community is "Racist" too like that other one that is separating from their black oppressor's and making their own city and taking their tax dollars with them.
