Do you think banning new inhabitants of Texans from exercising rights of Texas citizens for 5-10 years upon arrival would pass legal muster? Specifically talking about banning voting in state and local elections for the communists, until they get sick of Texas and leave again, or confess their sins.

There's probably something in the that would prevent it unless amended, but I didn't see anything during a quick search.

I'd be in favor of states requiring a residency period before allowing for voting rights, but I can just hear the screeching now. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
