The only protest we had was at noon today(high school kids mostly) - otherwise nothing. Our police have been on call to help out in LA city, Santa Monica and other areas. Now the city council is, with a 2 hour notice, having a special meeting on a Friday night to consider cutting the police budget.

guess this is a rant more than anything - I submitted a comment to the virtual meeting. nuts

timing to cut funding is so convenient after corona reduced the local sales tax and business tax revenue.
