The Challenge

Don't drink during the whole month of January.

You may increase the difficulty of this Challenge by adding NoPorn, or NoFap (hence the NobNom name) depending on your readiness. It is important that you commit to a level and stick with it.

There is an exception where if you feel you MUST have a drink for social reasons (only), you may have up to 2, not exceeding once a week. Try not to use this exception since at 31 days long, this is a relatively short challenge.

You are free to party it up during New Years Eve (unless you are starting early like ). The rest of us start tomorrow.

What you can expect

If you sign up, expect to be pinged daily in a Challenge thread. Also, expect to share your progress regularly and admit your failures. We don't need page-long essays. A simple "I didn't drink yesterday" will suffice.

The Honor System

What's to stop somebody from faking their progress the whole way? Nothing at all. On the flip side, completing these Challenges doesn't confer any site privileges. You do this for yourself. We've also found that porn-addicted beta drunkards don't have the energy to keep up their trolling efforts over the long term.

Myself, and have confirmed for the Challenge. I need to confirm with some more people but the challenge will go on even if it is a small group.

Good luck everybody. Alcohol abstinence always reminds me of a time I was in a library and noticed a thick dusty old book the titled The Hallucinogens (or something similar). I skimmed through it and learned that the drug commonly referred to as Molly aka Ecstasy aka MDMA was found to have exceptionally high efficacy in curing alcoholism by itself and incredible success when combined with psycho therapy.

It was swiftly outlawed.

The titans of industry want you sick and mentally impaired.

Don't drink, probably don't do drugs, but if you do drugs do good ones.

YES. That's perfectly welcome. We've had people work on quitting weed in the past and it did wonders for them.

There is already a month for each. Sober October. No nut November. I've missed last sober October and decided to do it all on November. No alcohol. No FAP. No porn. And stopped smoking.

I haven't smoked again since. And my libido increased without porn and less FAP.

I don't understand why having multiple months instead of doing something different.

Having one month in common helps. And people might genuinely abandon some vice like I did on smoking.

But having diluted months and goals spread out, might not have the same effect or make it worse.

I don't understand why make it January and expand to all vices. If someone cheats on one category, they might feel is OK to cheat the rest.

You should start small. Like 1 week no beer. 1 week no porn. 1 week no FAP.

Just a suggestion. Wish you guys good luck and if you fail, just try again.

I haven't smoked again since. And my libido increased without porn and less FAP.

30 day challenges are as short as we go generally. We've done over 6 months before.
