Are you aware of r/K selection theory and do you think it is applicable to humans?

Due to brain development and sexual maturity period, humans are a k-selected species. However, artificial resource abundance, such as what’s available in post industrial revolution civilizations, some humans adopt r-selected behaviors. However, these behaviors are transitory and would disappear under resource scarcity conditions.
