Yup, Greeks had cash bans over 200$, except a lot of people had more than this in their accounts. The banks were fearing a bank run, so they simply banned all cash transactions and forced people onto credit cards and debt based transactions instead. Expect this to happen very soon in the USA, especially after the FDIC woman proclaimed nothing to see here, whatever you do, dont stuff money into a mattress.
Holy crap, that's insane. That marries right up with banning cash because of the coof. That could happen tomorrow without much fuss. We're already mostly doing that now voluntarily anyway. We're demanding to put on our own noose. Fucking hell
