Like all technology, mRNA based vaccines aren't inherently bad. I'm sure that with sufficient testing and research they could be made safe. That being said, the not-vax we have today used a cytotoxic protein to encode as mRNA, did not do studies to determine the dosage, and are being given to populations that were not part of the test groups. It's a scam.
