Went tonight and I was the only person in the entry for about an hour, then I was taken back. There were only three "holding rooms" being used for the ER. An old woman came in who had some kind of infection(not Covid related) and they told her that she was staying there for the night because there was no room in the hospital. The other person was an old man who looked like he was 100 and had been subjected to chemo. I didn't hear the nurses talking in regards to his care, no idea what he was there for.

There weren't any codes or announcements the entire time I was there, from 930pm-5am. No other people brought in, either.

Considering there were only three holding rooms being used out of the entire ER wing, which was three long hallways, 4 per side, so 24 potential, I would bet the same is happening in the main hospital. There were only two nurses and one doctor working. One receptionist at the front.

It was nice, though, the doctor removed his mask when he saw that I wasn't wearing one. It was like a nod to this entire thing is BS.

Just figured I'd chime in on how it looked. Even the parking lot was empty, appeared to only have enough cars for staff.

Heh I like your style. I'm generally the one achshuallying.

I'm slowly understanding how important definitions are to normal debate. Enough so that now when I'm talking to a "wokist" I will stop them and make them explain what they are saying. Usually their argument falls apart once you point out that they aren't even using the proper words.

It has a sobering effect on them at times. So many popularly use words that have completely different meanings than the ones they intend to use them for and it makes it really difficult to have debates, let alone just regular small talk. Learning etymology is of grave importance. This topic goes very, very deep. You can go pretty far with this I think.

I'm finding it's also a good way to slow down and control the flow of an argument. I'm not good at verbal arguments so it helps.
