In the 15-page ruling on Monday, U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman said that the plaintiffs, six United Airlines employees, had not established they would suffer 'imminent, irreparable harm' if he did not issue a preliminary injunction against the mandate.

Silly me. I would have thought it was the drug companies who would have had to prove that the plaintiffs weren't in any danger of irreparable harm.

Preliminary injunction, doesn’t meant it won’t happen or they’ve lost their case.

Also since the ohsa mandate lawsuits were filed in more then 2 jurisdictions they’ll all be combined into one and a “lottery” will be held to se what court circuit the case will be held in.

Good luck trying to fly anywhere after all this goes in effect.

Between TSA and pilot shortages it is going to be jacked.

My new job is going to require regular travel to Florida and North Carolina. The wife and I have decided to relocate to one of those two states. I picked up a few Bagsters at Home Depot last weekend and we've already filled one. The rest will go into PODs and/or the back of our SUV for the drive down.

Weather wise I'd probably prefer NC, but no state taxes is very tempting. IDK much about NC state politics either. I see they have a dem running things.

Congrats with getting out of Jersey. Didn't know you took a new job.

North Carolina has actual seasons. It's pretty much the same there right now as it is in NJ. I am not as familiar with their politics either but they do indeed have a D at the helm currently. And our office there requires masks in public spaces. The Florida office doesn't.

And yes, the no state tax thing is a huge factor. That and the fact I have friends and family all over the state. It just gets so damn hot in the summer.

I'm not out of The People's Republic of New Jersey yet, but the day will come!
