I generally agree with you but she is wonderingwhy no one told her or looked out for her. Seems like she still trusted the system. But yes compassion is a little low for these people after being vilified for the past few years, isolation, and still getting f'd around. If these morons had used their minds none of us would be in this situation with society.
”but she is wondering why no one told her or looked out for her”
You might be surprised how many people have no one in their lives like you or me, who would tell them what we know. Now if someone tells them and they choose not to listen, that’s one thing. But that’s just simply not always the case.
I was discussing with some coworkers how well ivermectin worked for me and my fiancée when we caught the virus, and one woman was like “what?”
She had NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT.
These people exist in greater numbers than you might think.
They just don’t know any better. It doesn’t make them shitty people.
Our mission is supposed to be to wake them up. Vilifying them accomplishes the opposite. You and I both are more likely to at least hear someone out if their starting point isn’t that “you’re an asshole/retard.” Well, they are no different in that regard.
Fair enough. In person I have more patience with people but online in this environment I feel less empathy.
Well yeah, it’s easier for all of us to hate people from afar. The web is great for some things, but it also has a tendency to help dehumanize other people..almost as if they don’t actually exist and we’re just hating on some fictional robot made of 1’s and 0’s.
