My thoughts: I FUCKING TOLD YOU GUYS THIS ON VOAT OVER 2 YEARS AGO!

We would lose more "life years" than would be saved by these lockdowns. It's because young people will die at higher rates which means more life years are lost. I based this off of the average age people were dying in Italy, UK, and the US and a vast majority were over 70, at the time. If one young person dies to suicide, that can wipe out the 10-12 years of life saved in the elderly from the pandemic, by multiple times.

This is not to say 'Fuck the elderly, they can go to hell.' The elderly who know they have diabetes, hypertension, obesity, etc. can travel lest and make use of delivery options while in the pandemic hot spots.
