SARS-2 has shaved a few years off of the life span of old people, like most viruses do. But the virus has no payload targeting old people, it has no payload at all. It was optimized for being stable and its release was a field test to prove that a stabilized virus doesn't mutate into a boomerang. It was a full success: 3 years with just a few variants and no new strain like SARS-3. Now they are ready to add payloads.
What will be the payload?
Something targeted. The worldwide PCR test collected the DNA of billions of people from all races and families. If they want to eliminate a group, they can build mRNA that only reacts to the targeted DNA. Some people will die or get sterilized, everybody else just gets the sniffles - if there are any symptoms at all.
