with the intention of making a change.
This is the extent of my effort.
I'm too drunk to be coherent.
Now I'm just moving the pen
for the sake of it.
There's a joy in putting words to page
that has nothing to do with writing
meaning.
I've fallen prey
to my weak heart
I'm not in love
but I might not be far.
Please let me be better
than the trash I am
because I want to know you
as best I can.
