I think the Bible was referring to a European leader, possibly Middle Easterrn IIRC.

Where in the bible do they talk about Europe? That didn't not exist in concept at the time. Nor did Asia, Australia, N. America, S. America and Antarctica. So there's no way they meant that when it was written.

No, not spelled out in the Bible but from regional inferences in the Bible. "King from the North" (Russia), "King from the East (China)" etc interpretation used by many theologians.

Regional doesn't properly describe location. Interpretation is only a guess when vague compass headings are all one has to go by.

It appears the majority of theologians think -

Babylon The Antichrist is supposed to be born in Babylon, according to various interpretations. Some sources suggest that he will be a Jew from the tribe of Dan12, while others expect him to appear in the East or possibly Khorāsān3. There are also interpretations linking the Antichrist to a future world empire associated with a "revived" or "reborn" Roman Empire4.

Still not Trump.
