The waters were here before land was formed.
Outer space fantasy land isn't real. Thats why everything out of nasa is cgi, cartoon, or heavily produced hollywood cinematography. Water did not come from comet impacts, that makes no sense.
Also, fyi, comets look EXACTLY like a flashlight being shone underwater. Waters above waters below. Stars twinkle like light twinkles at the bottom of a pool. REAL IMAGES not nasa CGI of the luminaries look like images projected onto water.
