Never forget how it doesn’t matter. Politics is fake and gay. Voting is a waste of time. No matter who is in charge, neither side wins. You are simply taking part in a process designed to keep you distracted and have your energy wasted on matters you have zero control of. Shrug them off. Let the Republican Party whither and fall away. Conservatism is a trap and your conservative leaders will throw you to the wolves the first chance they get.
