We....we knew that before the vaccines were made available. This is true of every single vaccine ever created.
Vaccines reduce the probability of getting ill, the severity of illness if you do get it, and mortality rates. Not a single vaccine perfectly immunizes anyone from any illness. Even if you have Wolverine (comic book) levels of immunity, a mega-dose of a virus at acute exposure will still cause illness and kill you.
Sorry...but...these facts existed before the COVID-19 Vaccines. You don't get an excuse because you didn't know those things. But an apology is definitely a step in the right direction.
